I'm L'Shae, a neurodiversity-affirming psychologist
and EMDR practitioner.

I am offering telehealth services only.

I am passionate about creating a gentle space for working with
trauma, anxiety, depression, and chronic health conditions including
chronic fatigue syndrome and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS).

Our work together will honour your experiences while exploring what holds
meaning for you and find approaches that feel right. Together we can develop a deeper
understanding of your nervous system's responses and learn ways to befriend these - moving at a
pace guided by you.

Working with adults, I offer support with boundary setting, burnout prevention, pacing strategies, health management, and finding strategies that align with your needs.

My work is informed by attachment theory and understanding each person's window of tolerance to help create a foundation of safety.

I use approaches including Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Compassion-Focused Therapy.

Awakenings Psychology is an LGBTQIA+ friendly practice.

Practice Hours & Location
We are open Monday - Friday with varied hours.
We are primarily based online, but do offer some face to face sessions in East Melbourne.
